Cannot find New under File when the Database window is open due to moved.
Cause:
The 'New' command has been removed from the 'File' menu. The 'New' submenu commands have been moved to the 'Insert' menu and replaced by 'AutoForm' and 'AutoReport'.
Solution:
To create a new table, query, form, report, macro, or module in Access 7.0, select the 'Insert' menu and select the command representing the desired object.
1) Select the 'Insert' menu and select the desired object to insert. (The New <object> dialog box appears for a table, query, form, or report. The Macro Design or Module Design window appears for a macro or module.)
2) If 'Table', 'Query', 'Form', or 'Report' was selected in Step 1), do the following:
a) Select the specific type of the object to create from the list box.
b) Click 'OK'. (A wizard appears, depending on which type was selected in Step 2)a).)
c) Make the desired selections and entries in the dialog boxes that appear.
NOTE: Click 'Next' to move to each next step.
d) Click 'Finish' when done. (A window appears, depending on the selections made in the dialog boxes.)
e) Make the desired design changes or entries in the window.
3) If 'Macro' or 'Module' was selected in Step 1), make the desired design changes and entries in the Macro Design or Module Design window.
